Jane K. Cleland writes the multiple award-winning  and bestselling Josie Prescott Antiques Mysteries [St. Martin’s Minotaur]. The 12th in the series, Antique Blues, received a starred review from Library Journal. She also writes short stories, all published by Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine (AHMM), including June’s espionage story, “I Am a Proud American.” Jane’s bestseller about the craft of writing,Mastering Suspense, Structure & Plot [Writer’s Digest Books] won the Agatha Award for Best Nonfiction. Mastering Plot Twists [Writer’s Digest Books], has just been published. She also writes articles for Writer’s Digest Magazine. In addition, Jane mentors students in MFA programs and chairs the Wolfe Pack’s Black Orchid Novella Award (the BONA) in partnership with AHMM. She is a member of the fulltime faculty at Lehman College in the English Department where she also serves as the Director of the Program for Professional Communications. Jane is a frequent guest author at writing conferences and universities where she facilitates highly-rated workshops.
