Rob Spillman

Rob Spillman is the editor and co-founder of Tin House, an 18-year-old bicoastal magazine, which launched books by Nick Flynn, Victor LaValle, Emma Cline, Justin Torres, Aspen Matis and many others. His writing has appeared in the New York Times Book Review, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair and Vogue. He’s the editor of “Gods and Soldiers: The Penguin Anthology of Contemporary African Writing” and author of the acclaimed memoir “All Tomorrow’s Parties.” He is the recipient of the PEN Nora Magid Award for editing and the CLMP Energizer Award for Exceptional Acts of Literary Citizenship and teaches at Columbia University.
