An overview of tips for what to do once you finish your book, and the steps that are involved in the publishing process. It includes tips on what to look for in an agent, what a book contract looks like (with all the various subrights that come with it), and the things you, as an author, can and should do to advance your own career. It'll cover things like book tours, how to handle money, social media and newsletter stuff, and how to work with people at every level of the process, from assistants to booksellers. Essentially it's survival guide to being a working writer.
