What is Your Why? Use the Power of WHY at Every Level of your Writing to Unlock Success

"Why?" is such a simple question. Children ask it all the time! However, adults often forget to ask "Why?" This session will explore the power of asking "Why" at every level of our writing lives: why do we write at all? Why this project? Why this publishing path? This session will examine how to use "Why" to hone in on our best writing selves, uncover our deepest writing motivations, and discover the deepest veins of character, plot, and more in our projects. Attendees will spend time brainstorming and journaling to explore their own "whys" and will uncover specific, personal strategies designed to help them keep their writing motivation and momentum long after this session wraps up.
